Letterman, sorry it took so long to get back to you but we had been motorhoming at Sequim (silent "e" so it is pronounced like swim with the "qu" replacing the "w" or something like Skwim) for the last week for their Lavender Festival and we just got home.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camano_Island If you click on: State Route 532 (in blue) it will give you some idea of where Camino Island is; it has been at least 20 years since I have been there.
I'll have to contact the guy (or you could and ask if he would allow me to come up and take pix) and see if/when the contact the wife to see if/when . I am about 6' tall, is that going to give you any ideas about seating?
What part of the country would it be sent to if you wanted it (you can PM me on this)

Re: Saw something for sale
No worries Lee, I had only asked just today. Uh.. Yeah, I could call the seller to see if he would allow an independent PPI I'm 5'11" and 215, so I'd imagine that if you fit, I would fit. I would have to figure shipping to Pennsylvania, which would likely run about $2K, so it (the car) would be an already substantial investment even before I put my butt in a seat. This is purely speculative at the moment - I don't want to waste your time if you aren't anywhere close to where the seller is.

Re: Saw something for sale
I don't think it is a worry at all. Personally, it would be fun to see it but my own personal lust for it might grow which would do me great harm via my wife. I suspect we are pretty close to the same size too.
Let me know if you go forward on it.

This buggy has doors on it. Not sure if it is the one I looked at years ago but it is unique.

Re: Saw something for sale
This is up for sale again. It is in the Portland OR Craig's List. Kind fits either as a custom or maybe a kit so I am posting it here as I am not sure where to post it.
