Just a note on the jag,
Took a short drive a week or so back and picked up a miss. Number one , well crud thought injector , head gasket, all kinds of stuff.
Did a test for gases in the cooling system, negative, while having to jump the jag after running the battery down, noticed the ground cable just a it loose.
Re did the clamp bolt nothing dirty just not tightening up completely, tightened it up, started it and no more miss. Happy dance!
Ground really not that loose didn't notice till clamping it, but still enough to cause problems. Just a reminder of the importance of grounds.

Been a while since updated. have bought a place moved and going through health problems with wife. So jag been on hold for a bit. The last time out almost a year ago number one started missing again.
Checked it out and this time was injector. Had power and pulse to it but no work going on. So it sat till this weekend. Did order an injector early on so had it, changed it out this weekend, did some other maintenance. Ran it down the road a bit, amazing sits about a year put fresh battery in it after new injector and light it up. Did have premium fuel in it but lot to be said for the system.curt
