Can't see your pics.
Yep, there seems to be some problems. My original picture collection is in Picasa3 and there was a nice sync to Picasaweb albums - But now Google is not supporting this sync anymore. So I have to send photos from my laptops hard disc to google+ pictures and there seems to be some issues of the size and publicity.
Maybe through another forum...?

Going on. Unfortunately some ordered parts were wrong and delayed, so just matching parts together. Handbrake, brake pipes and engine to finish this end.

Really Enjoying watching your build here. Nice work. Don't forget to post often... even though not many say much, I know there's a lot of us watching your progress and enjoying the build.

Yeah, it looks great. I don't quite understand the goal, but it looks good.

Jadewombat, I have restored a vintage -52 split beetle to concours and -59 beetle to be quite a sleeper with a vintage outlook, but 2332 cc engine, 4x CSP discs, R&P steering and upgrated suspension. So this had to be a wild and Different than the myriads of other kitcars, rails, buggies, etc. Of course if I had deep pockets I bought one
Ariel Atom, but this KART will be a poor mans Atom

Tomorrow we have "weddings" and the body will be laid on the chassis.

Really nice. What size motor is that?

Pete, That engine is balanced blueprinted 1835 and now for the registration it is fitted with a Solex 34 (chinese copy)
Heads are 92
CB:s, but cam is mild for this carb. The first summer is to drive out all problems and the next season is for fun.
Some pics now after we had "weddings" and next week I'll have many days for this project to get steering, brakes and electricts ready.

Some works done:
I'm expecting to get some parts to fit rims and after that my KART is on wheels!
Electrics must be done carefully and windscreen has been asked to do. Fuel lines are ready, as well are the brakes.

= Go kart!
That's great. Is it difficult to get to road approved?
