i have a 1973 SB and was wondering if there are any kit car or buggy body manufactures for my car, also if anyone has built a "riot" from thunder ranch, www.thunderranch.com

I don't know of any kit that will fit on a SB without replacing the front suspension. SB's use a mcpherson strut design, which is really not compatible with any kit I am aware of. You can replace the frame head and mount a front torsion suspension up front and any VW based kit will fit. Some buggy bodies are full length, others require a section be removed from the frame...anywhere from 10" to 14 1/2".
I have not built, nor ever seen a Riot kit. The ones that I have seen come across EBAY are going for some significant money.
