When taking my engine apart I forgot where this spring went. It's an AS41 case and I have not pulled the oil pressure relief screw out of the case. Could this spring have come out when I split the case? I removed my fuel pump and dist drive and couldn't remember if it possibly came from there? I'm stuck on putting the case halves together until I can identify it for sure. I feel dumb Picture of spring next to cam plug for size reference.
Distributor drive pinion spring. If you have another, this one could've been dropped into the sump at some time in the past and been riding along since then...
