So, I had my engine build over the winter. It's now 1956cc 76mm crank, 90.5 AA pistons,CB Perf. #2236 cam with CB 1.25 ratio rocker 8.5:1 comp ratio N/A . Stock valve size 044 heads. On megasquirt EFI

My question is my cam. I'm not very cam smart, the choice was by the engine builder. CB shows it as a turbo friendly cam, why? lobes are at 107* what else makes it that way? Really I don't know how to understand the spec card and what it is telling me.

I'm tuning with Megasquirt and having detonation problems at MAP 80-100 RPM 1500 and up 2nd& 3rd gear pull I keep pulling back timing, but I feel like I'm really pulling is back there should be more advance.

The engine went from stock displacement w/110 cam 1.1 ratio rockers( megasquirt) to the 1956cc set up




SOLVED: I put in 25lb injectors I'm all the way up to 31* advance. WOT

You didn't mention your comp ratio.
