What size to rebuild?
I'm looking to rebuild my 1600 dual port motor that is in my street rail buggy. I'm looking to rebuild it so it has enough power to pull the front wheels off the ground on pavement. I'm curious to find out what the cheapest displacement I should rebuild to to get enough power. Any help is appreciated.

Re: What size to rebuild?
If you are wanting to pull front wheels off the ground you don't really need a bigger engine on a rail, just remove rear shocks and soften up the rear suspension, a very tired 1600 can be a wheelie machine with the right setup.
If you are planning on a rebuild I wouldn't go any smaller than a 1915, can be a huge improvement over stock with the correct combo for your application.
Good Luck

Good quality is getting harder and harder to find.
