Jabcok20,

i use a Borgwaner 7g9n 6k682 ae turbo.
I don`t know the spec or from what car it is, we think from a ford.........but.......

Anyone knows how many pressure can i use without risk for my engine?

Engine:

WBX type MV original
KMS motor management system
Hydro lifters
Camshaft CB type 2252: Adv. Duration 270° / Dur. @ .050" 214° / Lift @ cam .298" / Lift w/1.1:1 Rocker Arms .327"

I heard that 1,8 bar is oke, but for i destroy the engine, i want to know for sure.

My goal is, a lot off power and drive fail safe.

Andrè.

i can only give u advice from my own testing and tuning
1 bar on 98okt RON is safe
1.8bar on E-85 has been done
all with stock wbx pistons and rods.
stock pistons are fragile so be easy on tuning/mapp'ing :)

THx very much for reply. it is very usefull;D

I have more questions, how high can spin a stock mv? With and without turbo. Where is that safe border.
what oil i must take when i run this engine with or without turbo?
I think 1 bar will be enough for me( for a first couple of month:P ). How much hp can i achieve from stock mv on 1 bar?
Sorry for my english;)

Hoi Andre,

Thanks for trying to break your engine! It pulls and shifts great!
My neighbour laughed, but I do not know if he liked your driving style when you drove home :-)
If you want it to stay in one piece don't go over 1 bar. and keep an eye on lamda readings and ignition timing and drain the 95RON.
I got some (50L) 95RON for free yesterday and I had to retard the ignition because it gave a nasty ping.
Your exhaust and car is noisy so you may not hear the pinging

jabcok20,

With turbo there is no need for very high revs if you have a good turbo setup.
without turbo my DJ vanagon revs easy to 6000rpm but when "touring" long trips on the highway I don't go over 5500rpm.... this is high enough to get a BIG fine.

what you mean pingng?
i don't speak english very well so i don't know that word.
So we have 95 and 98 (no Pb) petrol here in Poland, which will be better?

hammer-like shock waves
detonation = DETONACJĘ :?
98 is beter to prevent DETONACJĘ but it is even more expensive....

Ok thx i understant. so you mean detonation from bad miksture of air nad petrol or too much petrol. soo a car must be setup for inject and turbo. or i think do we can change map of timing and move it later?
