Do you guys machine the rods when you go on arp s
I never did that when i replaced the stock ones with fresh used stock ones
If the stretch readings were to much
Just punched them in
And never had anny issues gr henri

Judging by the chamber shape, in the above pics I see sunk valves here.

For comparison, side by side
Sunk valve and stock valve chamber, the German stocker is 18cc and bigger in chamber volume than often quoted, they came from a brand new factory MV 2.1, suggesting to me they supplied the bigger chambers on MV motors, other heads I've CC'd, have been only 14cc.

They go right in with no machining, normal common sense applies to check for ovaled ends, if they go in loose, the rods are fretted and a throw away, ive had them were the cap just falls off the bolts, scrap them, there's nothing wrong with new 2.1 stretch bolts either, just stretch them 003" and done, usually that's about 30/32 lb/in.

It lives.In January 2018 the engine turns on :D .

The last saturday i change the jettings on the carbs and wrote a new curve for the 123 usb ignition.
engine revs very quick
180hp must be reachabel
