I have a set of 98mm wbx pistons and liners,that i want to put in my new wbxer.
The question is,are there any gasket on the top as in the stock setup?
In my set was nothing in?

Yes, stock 'o' rings are o.k for the liners, but compression gaskets for the heads, originals reinz ot Mahle are not available, i had spares made, i would mock up and check for deck height and required gasket thickness.

witch kind of material are they?
My best friend and enginebuilder Jürgen works at SEMCON Neckarsulm and had good connections.

Hi, Aluminium, we have many bespoke gasket co's in the UK. you can get any spec gasket you want.

I like to use a copper head gaskets. If the stock OD of the 98 is the same as the stock 94 cylinder gasket 106.20 I have some .042 1.05mm copper gaskets made for 96mm cylinders, I made a fixture in a lathe to hold them in a aluminum bore clamped them with a smaller holding ring and machined the inside dia. to fit the 98mm bore on the mill. Go Westy also sells the copper gaskets ready to go. I'm not certain they do 98mm bore though (I haven't been keeping up with their stuff since I now have a better built Rocky Jennings engine in my van).
