The exhaust may interfere with the larger D/S pump.
All scavenged oil is fed back to the tank, I would stay with engine fed oil to the turbo, say a tee off the oil light port or similar, it won't hurt to scavenge the heads via the rocker covers, I've not done so for the sake of easy maintenance as you can see in the pic, but the LH head on mine overloads with oil on long r/h bends, so it may get done next winter, I will do only the left head, again for the KISS rule sake, the right head is not collecting oil, but it's not necessary unless track racing with many hard turns right turns.
Nothing wrong with direct scavenge turbo to pump scavenge side.
The scavenge side is bigger than the pressure side. Hope that helps. BBB.

How many stages are there with the Bugpack pump?
What is the best pump in both your opinions?
If i was to tee off the scavenge to cater both banks would this work?

So there's a better pull of oil for the scavenge i guess.
I'm going to break in my cam and get the engine tuned up, then i will start assembling my dry sump system.

Quick update. I am using the cb pump and all seems well and good. Only oil problem I have had is the oil feed to the turbo needed reducing as oil seems to be passing the seals back in to the intake.
