Weight difference

Is there a huge difference between the wasser case and a type 1? Im seeing 30 pounds mentioned but it cant possibly be THAT much

I should specify, an oxy converted wasser case

No, but you have to be specific what you are comparing to. This bare case is 41.6 lbs

Mag is around 35% lighter than aluminium, so around 27lb for T1 case.

Consider adding the weight of a deep sump to the T1 case unless going dry sump.
The wasser will hold ~4.5L in the sump as-is.
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.
