BAJA RAT BUGGY, 2 ENGINES AND SWING AXLE TRANNY

Post by Bob Brugge »

I am selling my next project. 70 body on 68 pan w/ t3 engine. Motor is seized due to water in the exhaust, the title(s) are clear.

This thing was bad to the bone last time it ran. It has a remote oil cooler with its own dedicated fan as well all of the parts to plumb the air cleaner inside the car. Dual webers, custom throttle cables, Recently primed and painted flat black. The interior is a little rough, but its an off road vehicle. It has upgraded seat belts, maybe 5 point, not sure, never sorted that out, but about twice as wide and twice as thick as stock. The off road tires may be a little old, but they seem to be in perfect shape and have been holding 50 lbs of air since I bought it in March of this year. Currently have the motor soaking in diesel fuel to help try to loosen it up. This has no rust as far as I know on either the body or the pan.

I also have most of a 40 hp motor, everything except the jugs as far as I know.

I have an as-41 case and everything to that motor including some rusty jugs that are probably good paper weights.

I also have a swing axle tranny, condition unknown.

I have three used 85.5 mm jugs, 3 new 87mm jugs and one new 87mm jug that ate a washer.

Included is 5, yes 5 cranks, three of which are cw, the other two are stock cranks.

I have one set of tins, non dog house fan shroud, and various other parts.

I am looking for $1000.00 OBO, you ship or come get it. This has no rust as far as I know on either the body or the pan.

Here are some pics of it from the Gallery. I couldn't upload them because I am 600 miles from my other pc

This car was built by a professional mechanic and needs to have the wiring straightened out.

Please don't try to lowball me. I will keep it before I sell it too cheaply, I don't need the money that badly.

I see Washington on your Samba account. The car is in Washington state? I am so very glad that the car is not near Maryland! I'd be all over this.
