Interesting.

Is it really a third of the cost to ship to Rotterdam (@~2X the distance) vs Port Everglades?
Is it the port size/shipping volume that drives the price?

Not doubting you, shipping costs work in mysterious ways, just curious.
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

It is a mistery, you are right, just for you to know, China to Brazil a 20 is about US$ 160,00! And the return is about US$ 1.500,00. They calculate the freight as they have more or less cargo, if they have more cargo the price increase.
That is the reason we have at least 5 shipping agents here to quote the best shipping freight, on a 20 container or ro-ro.

Lot of nice looking buses. Different styles than what were released in the States.

Shipping costs, like airline tickets, mostly based on what they can get. Always screws me up when price has no relation to cost.
