Mostly self explanatory.
Okrasa 82. Built in 1980. My ownership in 1985. Still going strong. Really an old partner.
(No, the pulley in the picture is not going to be used.)
Carillo 5,9" Also longtime friends since mid eighties. Just slightly clearanced for the cam.
Schubeck lifters.
Aircooled net aluminium pushrods, double tapered
Camshaft from Jake Raby but I have no good picture of it.
E-plus spring and Beehive. Most likely it will be the E-plus spring, this time.

So here we go again with more presentations on the ongoing project.
Some pictures are from last year and the latest one is my new disc brakes. I got all four discs slotted and drilled.
The rims will also be changed for something very light....and not so expensive. 5 x 4 4/3" bolt circle, 6,5" x 15" and 5.7 kg. (12.5 lbs).
More on that later.
The drive shafts are so nice they deserve another picture. Knowing they are 300M and mounted with 930 CVs and 12 point bolts etc. just makes it nicer.
Also to note all the "take the G making corner goodies". This car will continue to be optimized for the track that has coners although a burst on the eighth mile will happen too.

Finally spending some time in Sweden and with my car.
Exhaust layout is being done.
Do not get stuck by bad symmetry of the bumper and height of the mufflers. It is till in mock up stage.
No more work on this until I have the TIV engine in place.
The idea is routing from the centre to the right muffler with V-clamp connections. Through muffler # 1. Under gearbox and in to mufflers #2.
The final bend is not correct one either. Just to give me an idea.
Here is my new addition for improved triangulation and support of both backs on the seats.
Rear disc being test mounted.
Here you can see a sneak preview of my aluminium 5,5 kg 6,5X15" rims.
Therefor change to 5 bolt circle.
Next report in late June.

So here we go again after a short visit back home.
Next update will be in few weeks time as I am heading back for vacation and then the track at end of July.
Better be with my 2,7 and not the 1915...if I have done my homework well.
First picture out is the engine because this is were the hours are spent.
Valve pockets, check with clay on all four. Clean and clean and clean and then put it together and realize that you need to adjust one more thing....it takes time.
Anyone with Raceware cylinder block bolts knows the feeling to torque them to 40 ft lbs and the crank just spins nicely. It is a lot of torque and everytime I do it I have to check it again, was it 40 ft lbs?
Heads are final assembled but not torqued in place.
The two carburators are just mocked up to see difference in height between 61 mm with horns and 51,3 with stock horns and K&Ns.
Second picture is second time mock-up to see how the DTM fits with 82 stroke, 5,9" rods, E-plus and 3/4" spacers on the cylinders. Just OK.
I will need to clearance some for the T1 exhaust ports and a little around the manifolds to get it to seat but in overall, nice fit.
This is a quick fix but it works. Need it to torque the center two bolts in front of the manifold. 7/16" wrench, a 3/8" extension and some tig welding.
This is the new center panel going in place and moving my instruments away from the far right hand side and inside the glove compartment.
What you also see is the Tillet chair beginning to come in place. Not ready yet.
Finally the Datsun modified double distributor with beautification of the adapter plate. A lot of filing by hand on that one. No functional improvement, just feels good to have it done.
In few days I will also add the progress on my 2.0 TIV turbo engine on location here "far away from home". Got my LA Performance horisontal shroud delivered.
The CF version still pending but coming soon.
Burns Stainless twin scroll merged collector is on its way as we speak.

Well as mentioned in previous input, I am not sitting idle abroad.
I have built myself a small workshop in one of the rooms.
Last few weeks when I got my Kemppi tig welder running, things turned for the better.
Now the 2.0 std TIV will get a twin entry T04.
DTA EXP 48
LA perfromance CF shroud....coming.
CB drysump
Heads are 46/40 partially done by Ambjörn/Martin and then polished and final touches by JPM.
