One question though, I have K800 springs, do I have to do something to my pauter rockers? I have heard that you have to make some clearance but is that true?

I have the same Pauter rockers and K-800's on my Autocraft heads. Check the bottom side of the rockers at the spring retainers, I had to clearanc mine just a little because they would rub a little. Use a file or sanding block and take a little off at a time and check your clearances so you wont take too much off.

Uuh last week vent fast. I got all together at Friday, but unfortunately I had some Issues with megasquirt rpm and could not get it started.

small update, engine is running but I think this summer is over for -54. I just bought "new" -55 Oval and planning to drive it to SCC event... :)

I must say, you are a wizard when it comes to fabrication.I hope you are well pleased with your progress so far.You have built an amazing machine and I thank you for posting pictures of it.

Thanks for the kind word's. :)

What comes to my progress, I'm pleased to what it's now, but not to that fact that it has take so long to get there... :) and there is lot's of work ahead. :)

This years last event Waasa Aircooled Dyno Day #2 is over

I'm pleased to say that my car didn't broke and gave decent numbers 172hp@6404rpm
