I just got hkome and received a call from Tom Burdge, one of my F production racers...

He took a win today at the SCCA National at New Hampshire...

Thats two races for Tom this season and two podiums- With this win he is leading the points in F prod in the north east region!

Great job, Tom!!!

Sweet Jake....

Question for ya..

Since the restrictions are so great in SCCA.

Is there any data that you learned from these engines that you have used on your street engines?

Absolutely!

Thats the only reason I build these engines! They take so long you can't make a dime off them otherwise!

Congrats to Tom! After the tough time that he had at the runoffs last year (not engine related) starting the new season strong has to feel great!

Congratulations Tom,

You drove a fine, smooth conservative race. The motor is strong,
and reliable with the fast FP lap of the race.

(Also thanks to Jake & Len for hints that helped us keep our motor together for the whole race.) (We got 3rd in FP, laped by Tom.)

Congratulations again Tom for a 3rd place F Production run at LimeRock.

(Quite a feat with a stock ratio transmission which had only 2 ratios
suitable for the track.) (It helps to have a motor that has a broad power
curve.)

Thanks again Tom, for the help and bringing me along for a 5th place F
Production finish.

I talked to Tom today... He is still first in points in the Ne and we will be delivering his "second" engine back to him at the end of this week.. He has been running his "runoffs" engine all season thus far..

Good luck Tom!
