bike disributorless system

bike disributorless system

Has anyone tried a bike ( ninja or suzuki ) distributorless system on their t4 engine.

I always thought they looked pretty, why would you want to go through all the work to remove something pretty, especially a Mallory?

Because distibuterless ignition is generally more precise. If he's going standalone, it will give him more control over spark.

The reason why i asked is to findout if any of you guy's have tried it on a aircooled engine. Their is a guy in jamaica that has a convertable mark1 golf that uses this ignition with twin 40mm webers and he regularly give hondas a warm time.

Unkl ian. That info i don't have availible now but i will have to do research on this as i am also curious to know.

Some people use EDIS with Megasquirt,and they can program
the advance curve.

Yup, it can be used with ms, vems, autronic, ect..
