Setting 0 lash manton pushrods

Post by Casey79Westfalia »

Jake,
I have been doing my valve adjustments by tightening a particular valve until I can just spin the pushrod. Problem is my fat little fingers have a tough time getting in there to really tell if it is spinning or if I am just sliding on oil. Any good techniques for setting 0..

Thanks

You can also use the swivel foot adjuster the same way as the pushrod. If either of these spins and you have no lash in the rocker its all good to go at zero..

Great idea - this will make setting the tappets so much easier!
