Type I DTM discussion list started

With the debut of the Type I DTM less than one month away we have decided to implement a new way of discussion concerning it. We are getting bombarded by the same questions over and over again so with the discussion liost we don't waste bandwidth here and people can download the entire days worth of discussion easily or even get emails as they come in daily.

It is really easy to join the discussion lists all you have to do is click here
http://www.aircooledtechnology.com/type1/dtm/index.htm
and then scroll down a ways to the "subscribe" portion for the list on that page.

This way we can keep everyone up to date with Type IV DTM developments, we can answer questions to help decide if the Type I DTM is a good decision for your engine and afterthe sale customers can network to share findings with the system. As more and more people install the systems we will also benefit from the list as we can make changes to it as they become necessary.

We are working away to have systems on the shelf to sell on October 15th as we speak so you can have almost a month prior to the release of the shroud to see if you like what you hear about it enough to buy one.

Join the list and on Monday I will make a few posts about the system and start discussion. We already have 37 members on the list and it just started today.

Also this list will be for type IV DTM questions and answers as well so if you wish to follow the testing of the Carbon Fiber DTM for the type IV, or anything else TIV related feel free to join as well.

Well looked like a GREAT idea but I don't want my email box filled up with spam from the hosting company.

Jake have you walked through the registration process to see what they want from subscribers?

I have used the lists for years. The Thing/181 list is hosted there and I have been on it for 4 years off and on.

They have never spammed me.

Actually I just went through the process and bypassed all the Q's pretty easily by clicking continue.

I'm not going to be posting much more about DTM development here because its clogging things up a bit and too many competitors can see what we are doing. The mail list has way more control...

Heck, if you really want to see whats going on just go get a mail.com email addy just for the list and who cares if it gets spammed..

Hey Jake,

I went thru and signed up for Topica, but it tells me it cant find anything associated with Type 1, DTM, Volkswagen, VW or Jake Raby anywhere in the Lists. Can you give me the name or location of the forum??

Thanks man,
Biggene

I never found the DTM list on Topica. However, I got an email message in my Inbox about an an hour and a half later asking for verifcation of my request to get on the listing. I guess this was generated because I used the subscribe section on the Aircooled Technology web site.
