Let's play name that tool
I found this and I'm not sure what it's used for. Any ideas?

Heli-coil installer
Yeah some may call it overkill, but you can't have too much overkill.

It could be but I am not sure it is. Because of the handle it looks to be a later design than I have used might be deceiving me but the narrowing of the end of the tool makes is plausible for small helicoils. You put the bent end in the tool, screw it in then smack the end to break off the bent end of the helicoil opening up the insert for longer bolts to go through.

I don't think it is a Schrader valve installation tool because of the narrow slot leading to a larger drilled hole. What I found on line isn't like what the picture shows.

There used to be a valve cap that had the proper ends so you could use an old tubeless valve stem with the cap on to remove the Schrader Valve.

This looks exactly like the tool... Schrader Valve tool. But yours looks modified. I do believe this is a match for the one in the original pictureother than the modified slot.

Other than that... does it have any other markings like a Patent number or a part number?

Dill mg. #5411. I think it is on page 28 on their catalog but it is a valve core screwdriver. Hmmm!

Your turn to come up with another tool that we get to identify... The weirder the better. This is a learning thing, not a winning thing...LOL

Thanks again. I don't know if I'll ever use it, but it won't take up much space in the tool drawer.
