VW bus axle shaft question
Have a 67 bus trans without axle shafts. I'm a little confused about the different lengths, but I think the 67 uses a "long shaft", which I think is 27 13/16" in length (correct me if I am wrong, please). What shafts do I actually need to complete the setup. Any leads are also appreciated. I have the drums, tubes, boxes etc. Thanks, Rick

Re: VW bus axle shaft question
A bus axle is unique in that there is no threaded end, just a snap ring. This makes them super easy to spot and don't require a tape measure.
Yeah some may call it overkill, but you can't have too much overkill.
