Pressure plate woes

Kept hearing unusual noises, so pulled engine. This is what I found.

It's the ring for the bearing collar if you have an early style throw out bearing.

FWIW, those early-style throw outs have always given me trouble.
It’ll be late-style sleeved ones for me from here out;
Even if it means those little adaptor sleeve dealies..
