Convert IRS Transmission 2 SA Transmission

I have a VW Trike I'm building and I took out the SA Transmission and notice in the bottom of the case there is some damage. i'm not sure i can use this case. SO i have a Spare IRS Transmission can i convert it to a SA Transmission to fit in the rear end?

If it's a dual side cover IRS you can convert it. Measure the backlash on the IRS and then shim it back to that when that ring gear is on the swing diff.
