I got some Italian Brake Drums at cip1 .

The link to the part number is:

https://www2.cip1.com/ProductDetails.as ... 05-615-BGR

VWC-111-405-615-BGR - GERMAN QUALITY (MADE IN EUROPE) - FRONT BRAKE DRUM STD BEETLE 68-77 GHIA 68-74 - SOLD EACH - (A20)

These are on sale. Their Web Price US $79.99 each.
15% Off - May Daze Sale! US $67.99 -Free Shipping!- I did not pay tax.

The pair that they sent me are made in Italy.
They are for my 1973 VW Beetle sedan (non super Beetle).

The point is, do you think that these will be acceptable and will not be defective in a few years?
To play it safe, I am going to save the old drums.

I also got front & rear Beck/Arnley metalic shoes at rockauto.com .
