I just rebuilt the front end of my linkpin beetle. I added a quick steer kit in conjunction with the new tie rods. My results confirm FJ's assertion. At 65 on the freeway, you now need to focus. But on the squiggly backroads, much fun!

Having taken my car on a spirited drive through less than well-manicured country roads for the first time since fitting the quick steer, I can confirm that bump steer was a significant issue for me... I will look at the 'rotation' mod mentioned, else I will be removing it permanently...buildabiggerboxer wrote:The pitman arm extender kits can work well, bump steer will be significant without attending to it.
