Hi guys, I'm purchasing some shocks from Avo for my 1303. Unfortunately I don't have any standard shocks to send them, doesn't anyone know the standard dampening, spring rate and lengths of the shocks so I can have the shocks built please.
Or alternatively a suggestion on some rates that would be good for track use?
Thank you.

Konis. They really stand behind their products. A friend of mine used to live in Holland. He said when he went to the autocrosses (gymkana they call it) Koni would set up a trailer out there and you could talk to them about what the car is doing, etc. hand them your shocks and they would revalve them on the spot free of charge.
I haven't heard of that type of support here stateside, but still they take their products seriously.

Moronic engineering to the rescue. Put the springs on a bathroom scale. Sit on the springs until they compress 1". Read the scale. That's the rate in lb/inch.,,more or less.
