Rear brake calipers

Post by H2OSB »

Greetings all--

I am simply curious if anyone knows of a caliper that will bolt in place of a n/a 944 REAR caliper, i.e. 94mm bolt spacing. I'm particularly looking for a solid rotor caliper without a parking brake feature. Oh, and no more that 36-38mm pistons. I know there are front Porsche calipers with 94mm bolt spacing, but I don't want monster brakes.

What do you have now? There are either ATE single piston, sliding type, or the 944 turbo Brembo 4 piston calipers, 28/30mm.

I have plain old 944 rear brakes. Oddly, I'm trying to come up with a caliper to use on a 912 solid rotor over the same 944 parking brake apparatus. I can use the Porsche M rear caliper meant for solid rotors, however I'd need to use an adapter. I was just wondering if anyone know of a caliper that fit my criteria.

I didn't realize this is my second thread I started in the forum with the exact same name.
