It's time to sell my baby. 1973 VW Thing with 2.5l Turbo Sti Subaru motor. Motor was out of 2006 WRX STi. 091 with Weddle RP, Weddle gears, and larger midhouseing for Mendeola main bearing built by Transwerks. Car has 4,630 miles since it was built.

Interior: Mastercraft seats, Mastercraft 3" padded belts, Mastercraft rear bench, Lowrance 840C (10" screen) GPS, Racepak UDx dash, Kenwood Race radio (car/car), 4-way Avcomm intercom (with music/cell jack), four Avcomm headsets, TPM billet/leather steering wheel, Sweet quick release, interior Mastercraft bags, CNC cutting brake, Tilton/cnc hanging pedals, Drive-by-wire throttle.

Front: A-arms (PSD Design), 2" hollow spindles, Gray Area hubs/brakes, Mastercraft limit straps, Power steering, Howe Power Ram with Sweet servo, Sweet u-joints, Fox 2.0 Coliovers/Fox 2.0 three tube bypass, Saco rack, FK Heims.

Rear: 5x3 arms, 930 CV's with 300m cages, Sway away axles, Mastercraft limitstraps, Fox 2.0 Coilovers/Fox 2.5 3 tube bypass, Type 2 stubaxles/bearing (hubs, torsion remover and arms were built by Dave Brown), Speedway Sway bar.

Misc: Fluidyne Radiator with fan, Amber LED front, Hella Amber rear, Speedometer on CV, Roof Rack with Mastercraft tire strap, Spare tire, Centerline wheels with Champion Beadlocks, Jenson Amp and speakers, two coolers (drinks), 15 gallon RCI fuel tank (completely rewelded), fuel sender, Intercooler with fans, BFG Mud terrain tires.

Quite a few spare parts will go with the car. I have spent a lot of time working with the shocks and the suspension is dialed in (for desert). Car weights around 3000lbs. I built it to be stout and run the deserts and Baja. This car has never failed me. 102" wheelbase, 79" track and 13' overall length. The car is small due to the VW body. The rear seat will only fit kids/smaller adults. I am willing to help with any fab work needed to relocate front seats if needed (I'm 5'6").

Best off all - IT IS CALIFORNIA STREET LEGAL! Buy it today and go cruise to the beach. No more being stuck in Off-road parks only. You can drive this car year round and anywhere you want. NO SMOG.

$27,000.00 Sorry, I'm not looking for trades.
