This cam is similar to an Engle FK-8 or Web-Cam 86b, with a little less lift and gentler ramps. Also comes with Steve Long treated Scat lifters. I ran this combo in my 2276 with 44 IDF's, 1 5/8" merged exhaust, CB 1.4 rockers, and Performance Workshop's Stage 2 heads. It ran GREAT. I was able to cruise around town at 40 in 4th gear no problem, but dump the clutch, slam it into 2nd, hammer the throttle and... Hold on! I've run Engle's FK-8 and Web-Cam's 86b in similar motors to the one described above, and the SLR cam produced more usable torque than the others. I ran this cam for about 3000 total miles, and broke my trans. I decided to pull the engine down to freshen everything, and while it was apart, and the cam and lifters were with Steve being resurfaced, I decided to go bigger.
Price is SHIPPED.
