SK(snail gauge) and my decklid...
So I've been battling with my IDAs, and have a difficult time getting a good seal on the velocity stacks with the SK tool with my decklid on the car. I'm thinking I'm going to fabricate an adaptor so I can maintain a proper seal to achieve a correct reading. Have any of you had this problem? What did you come up with? Thanks for any insight...

Quick release hinge pins.
Cheap and effective.

Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

I don't run ida's but do run quick release pins and they are pretty easy to use and make it easier to work around the engine....

My baja has an 091 trans raised and angled, and tall manifolds. No room for a snail gauge. I use a 4 tube manometer. This has the added benefit of not needing to remove the air filters.
