Why does my Gates 27313 Barricade ¼ I.D. 50 psi fuel hose non F.I. say non road use only?
I thought since my '73 Beetle has a 34PICT3 carb this hose would be OK.
I think I might cut out the parts of the hose where it says 'non road use' and go ahead and use it.
It might be labeled 'for non-road use' if it is not registered with the EPA for on-road use.
Could I be in any trouble for using it?
There are no vehicle inspections where I live.
Any help is appreciated.
TIA!

Given that its even CARB legal (California) I suspect its "non fuel injection use", which is true.
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.
