Kadrons or Dellortos ?

Which carbs would be better suited to the following engine, both sets are as received from the factory, ... 40mm Solexes (Kadrons) or 36mm Dellorto DRLAs :

Stock 1600 Dual port
1 3/8" header and single quiet muffler
Bosch 009 Distributor with PerTronix ignitor
Autocraft 1.25:1 rockers

Heater boxes will be replaced with J-tubes as well.
