Fuel mixture sensors

Post by Dean... »

I'm sick and tired of thinking I have the mixtures right, but being wrong. I have twin Webers and I would like to know if there are any cheap sensors that I could weld into each exhaust pipe from the cylinders and use a multimeter to see what the mixture is?

Cool thanks for that. This is what I was thinking of doing, but I've been trying to find out how to exactly test for the right mixture and haven't found that info. Do you happen to know if a link where I might find that info?

Not sure what you mean, if you get a WB setup, it will consist of a sensor, a controller and for your needs a display. The controller reads the sensor and sends the readings to the display. There are several companies out there that sell this sort of thing. And people have their preferred vendor, mine is http://14point7.com.
I would make this a temp setup that you can install for tuning and then remove when not.
