I was thinking today,
With the stock injectors which are what, 225 or 240 (something like that ) flow rate , what power will that let me get?
That's at 43psi from a gsxr pump. So could run more pressure ?

Will also look at fixing the flanges back on and bolting some gsxr rubbers to that for an OEM fitment maybe.... Unsure wether to bother or just fix them perminantly.

Methinks the body of the car may not agree...
You need to get much closer to the fan housing.
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

Yes, I was going to ask what car you have? I have a Ghia, and for me that would be ok, but in a bug, I think you have a challenge ;)

Hmmmmmm this would be so much easier if I was with my bug! Your most likely right, could gain a little more clearance I'm sure when I mount them.

Someone measured for me and was 36 3/4 in at the widest part...
Leaves me with about 3.3cm!

Ducks arse comes to mind!!

Hmmmm

I've sorted a new mounting way as fitting them directly wasn't working out so well as the manifolds aren't round, more oval... So fitted the flanges to them, will then bolt on some carb rubbers that fit and hope for the best fitment wise! Not sure how I can get around it?? Any ideas?
Clearance the side panels in the engine bay? My whole rear end is removable FYI....
Or tilt the manifolds in a bit by grinding the base at a slight angle maybe...

Cheers :)

I had some of the same challenges you have, and I ended up with mounting my GSXR ITB's more or less in line with the runners. As you say, the ports became very oval if you cut the intakes at an angle.

This is how mine looked in a Ghia. Loads of space :)

I've fixed my flanges back on so there level and smoothed it all with metal epoxy. Will be interesting to see how it all fits!

Cool setup, I see what you done there, what rubber mounts did you use?

Cheers
