new intake for my 1776

Post by Thorkhild »

I was thinking about building a new intake using these parts. but not sure if I should get the "y" or the "t" center section.
this would attach to my existing end castings from CB performance.

motor is squirted 1776 , with mild cam, and 044 heads.

jenvey 45mm short TB
90 or 150mm air horn
and center section from AJ simms,

If you are looking for single throat TB consider something like one off 2.5L EFI Jeep... IT has TPS, MAP sensor and IAC solenoid (valve) already built in as one compact unit...

Better PIC but with MAP sensor removed...

All sensors are pretty much 5 volt industry standard....

Wrecking yard, e-bay, rock auto, Jeep parts web sites, midnight supply to neighbors Jeep ...Well maybe not...

2.5 liter jeep TB is 48mm, 4.0L is 55mm, 4.0L TB can be modded out to 62mm......
