Okay, I am now powering the sensor with 12v and it seems to like it, can I do the same with the injectors?

The injectors? wont run any other way than off 12v, i think you meant something else.
The std analog sensors need vref.
If you have an ethanol sensor, it runs on 12v.
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.
