Hello everyone,
I have a Mexican Beetle 1600i with Megasquirt ECU fitted and I am using the Idle Control Valve VDO 408-202-013.
Does anyone know the best frequency to set in Megasquirt to control this valve?
Thanks
Paul

99 hz is what most of those used from the factory, I'm running a very similar unit there.
Anything close will work.

Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

Re: VDO Idle Valve Frequency Setting
Thanks for this - I missed your message so just picked this up.
I have mine running at 279 hz because at 92 hz it was humming. It's difficult to figure out what's right as I have also been told these ICU's run at 300hz.

Re: VDO Idle Valve Frequency Setting
Thats how they sound with the factory ecu as well.
If its working well and not overheating the unit or the drivers it doesn't matter.
Your resolution may go down at higher frequencies.
