Not a big deal, but ever since the upgrade to the new phpBB format, the email link to a thread update contains a link that doesn't work when I try to access it from by Blackberry. There must be a format issue.
The following link will give me a "The requested topic does not exist." error
http://www.shoptalkforums.com/viewtopic ... &e=1012263
If I scroll down to the link to view the topic, I also get the error:
http://www.shoptalkforums.com/viewtopic ... 0&t=128665
The links above work fine from my laptop, so it's not an account issue.
I have been scrolling down to the forum link and then I go from there, but it's a pain.

It would be nice to go right to the thread from the link emailed to my Blackberry.
I don't have this problem on other phpBB based forum emails.

Interesting Lotrat did I ever tell you my big toe hurts.
Hot, humid air is less dense than cooler, drier air. This can allow a golf ball to fly through the air with greater ease, as there won't be as much resistance on the ball.

And you should step up and get a Blue Tooth.

Well, I don't know anything about Blackberry and the format(s) employed. The link is the link, as you point out, so it must be device related. Perhaps you can enlighten me via Blackberry pros about what needs to be different. As it stands, I don't know what to change.

It may be device related. It may even be related to the gmail app I run on my BB.
The format on the email notification is what I think it messing it up.
Current format:
http://www.shoptalkforums.com/viewtopic ... &e=1012278
Format used by other forums that work on my BB:
http://www.shoptalkforums.com/viewtopic ... 8#p1012278
Both links take you to the same post, but only the bottom one works from my BB. Like I said, not a big deal. I just like to click once. If I'm the only one with the problem, then don't worry about it. Think of it as a governor on my post count.

Lotrat you might be having that problem because you clicked on that gay armature site link one too many times.

Turns out the are many issues with Google's Gmail mobil app = not STF problem.
Nothing wrong with a happy armature site.1 Chance Racing wrote:Lotrat you might be having that problem because you clicked on that gay armature site link one too many times.
