Plus autcross and circle track...
It'd be great to expand a road race forum to include autocross, hillclimb, and circle track... speed + turning!
SCCA Solo 2 is autocross events at parking lots and tracks (our Atlanta group is renting the Talledega Grand Prix road course in August for an autocross) and are mini road courses, you against the clock, with max speeds from 70 to a little over 100 mph.
SCCA Solo 1 is run on full tracks, you against the clock, speeds up over 120, 130 and more... full road race speeds. There was just a southeast Solo 1 event that was run as a hillclimb in North Carolina.
It'd be great to have a forum to talk about the stuff that's a little different from drag racing... suspension setups, weight distribution, cooling (given the runs can be from minutes long up to hours long), road racing tires, etc.

absolutely.
the drag race forum and the euro look forum both recieve a fair peppering of posts that would be better placed in a dedicated autocross or roadracer forum. i think there is a lot of interest in this at the moment, but the discussion is diluted by the lack of an appropriate forum.
yes yes, please admin, please.
