I'm missing German Look and SBO, those 2 sites would have to be the most polite forums on the net.

I like visiting shoptalk as well but I find that the number of posts can be a little overwhelming.

Hi Wally

I've had a bit of set back, my daily 1303 was vandalised just before Christmas so I decided to give it a freshen up, its been taking up a lot of my time and money.

I'm doing a Simpson desert trip in my 4WD over Easter so I've also been busy getting it prepared as well.

I getting close to taking the body off the pan and sending it away to be painted on my other 1303 with the G50.

Your G50 set-up was looking good the last time I saw it on German Look.

Like Jason, I had a rather complete thread on the G50 install on GL, but since this is a mixed topic anyways, I'll just include two pics of the work done:

Now this should piss off anyone who is or has been a member of the site. Are the tons of information, gallery pix, tech articles now gone? Superman, do you have an answer for this. The site was turned over to you in the trust that you would carry it on, not hi-jack the domain name and start an online store with it. I hope I am missing something and I am wrong.

I'm REALLY hoping this is just a temporary measure and that German Look Tuning with have it's own site, and German Look forums will be back to where it was. Super did mention taking it to a new server, maybe he's doing that now. Just odd that nobody heard a thing before the site went "down" when it looks like it was taken down purposely....

I met James (Superman) on line in about 1996 or so, we have never spoken but have become good friends over the years.

I don't believe James would do anything wrong, he took the Superbug forum from here and formed when SBO when the Superbug forum was overloading Shoptalk.

I really miss both forums, I spent more time researching both these than any other site on the net.
