Shaving the front hood handle
The most common way on the VW scene is to weld the inside part of the latch to the inside of the hood. This will leave all parts of the system intact and working except the push button safety latch, which is gone when the outside handle is removed.

Shaving the front hood handle
Hi
If you do this make sure you put a hidden cable in to work the lock if you have a failure. Also make sure your hood cant open when you are driving, maybe put a switch on your hanbrake lever to complete curcuit to the hood solenoid. Also fit socket to the car so that you can supply power to your locks in the event of a flat or failed battery.
