How is the rear spoiler effect at high speed? Does it help the car to be more stable at speeds? Thanks as I'm thinking of getting it or the J-sports spoiler. Still deciding. Thanks.

I plan on circuit racing my beetle in the near future and I want brakes that will NOT fade ... this conversion is WAY OVERKILL for the street. When I do 5 consecutive stops from 70 mph to 0, the brakes get warm.

Here is my car, I went the same route as phat73vw, 4x100 bolt pattern cheaper than porsche wheels but still gives it that drastic effect.. 205/40/17 all the way around.. This pic is from last year, need to take some new ones as car looks a little different now. They are VOXX FA wheels 17x7.

Vdubbeetle1972 where did you get that rear spoiler? Looks great, size is just right.

What size spacers did you use for the rear?

hear are my 18in clasic design 2 porsche rims i polished the rim and painted the center black



7.5 j all round with 215/35/18 front and 225/40/18 back

I wonder could you go 225 40 18" tires all the way around??
Also, please show us some pics from different angels??

iv only got somepics of me racing, you could run bigger tires but they wont fit under the stock fron wings like mine.

iv only run at bug jam last year, it was a big rush to finish the car on time, i was still working on the car the night before!! anyway the best time was 12.78@110mph with 2.1sec-60ft!! and the power turned down to 250bhp/240ftlbllow boost setting(was getting used to the car , hadent driven it in a hole year!!). the motor made 340bhp/311ftlb the dyno,
ive done some things to the motor so this year we will se what happens?????
