not nessicarily, stock tires have a height of about 25.4" or 24.8" (depends who you ask) so if you find a tire size similar then your speedo will be fine. My tire height is 25.1" so mines pretty close (205/50/17)
And i'm pretty sure that 165/80/15 is stock not 135's
i very well could be wrong on the front tire size. I would go out and look at my front tire but the car is in the shop for a few things i can not do right now becouse of back surgery.

Well I doubt you have an original tire on your car, the car is about 40 years old and the tires would have probably been replaced at least a few times.
The 135 wide tires are Cal Look tires, these are not stock. People generally just use these for looks.
i know they are not original tires but origianl size but like i said i could be wrong my car is dropped 3" in the front and might have put the smaller tires on for more room to truning.
Original size is like 5.80 by 15. I think most use 165/80/15 because it is close to the stock size. The front only matters cause of the speedo cable, the rear is just for gearing.
i got 15x4.6in kidney bean style rims front an back with Summit racing brand tires z-rated 140mph an there 195/60/15 front an back...but im gonna buy some replicas of my wheels for rear so there gonna be 15x5.5 in rear....same size tires. there like 99.95 per tire.
