Hi Mike yes it does. You give a vacum/boost signal it knows the engine load by the RPM and MAP values plug it to your computer staet with a generic timing map ten you decide at what boost pressure/rpm you want to start pulling timing and you get to tell it how much to pull and how fast/slow to change it :D
Image ImageImage I orderd it for IDFs so I got those 4 little plates for single carb just need to tap the manifold after throttle plates.Very nice product and worked great ended my timing wowes Now I new what timing is at each rpm window then just tell it what to do.
Once you sample the control/ease of tuning you will probably lust for fuel injection & timing control Which will relegate this bad boy back to the parts shelf. Its its own worst enemy. After it gives you a teaser

Cheers Buddy

Ya Its fun I put a Dakata digital dash in it that has a pulse generator for your speedo lets you see your zero to sixty times and quarter mile times two tipsy rednecks and myself were doing quarter mile passes   18 -20 sec depending if we were gaining elevation on the country road or losing it full of camping gear water Ahhh much fun. The old fellow I bought it off had the 455 done up with a mild cam decent heads and stout botom end. I re geared it from 307 to 373 I think I did that when I was pulling horses around. I liked that dash so much I put one in the buggy tooImage

My dad has a 23 footer. Birchaven is the trim I think. I'd love to put a Fitech on it someday. It definitely doesn't have power like yours does though, thats insane! His has the old original 455, bone stock.

I have heard of guys turbo charging them My go to vendor has a twin turbocharged 455  I don,t see it in my future although I do enjoy pulling out and putting a 1/2 million dollar diesel pusher in my tail lights pulling up a mountain pass with a horse trailer in tow   probably how I busted up the stock trans and a built one from a guy who builds them. I phoned him up told the tranny calfed pulling a hill coming out of the badlands of Drumheller Admitted I did some burnouts told him of a problem I was having with it puking fluid out the dipstick seemingly randomly [not really working it and I pay attn to tranny temps and have an audible warning if they approach 300* I think] He said it shouldn't have come appart he's done worse arranged to ship me a new "Mannys tranny" split the trucking/shipping costs new transmission is great no issues and runs cool. I was so impressed that a couple years later I picked up his " One ton conversion kit" that does away with the week "beefed up" Toronado pass car front hubs and bearings and replaces it with the hubs, bearings, brakes,CVs and axles from a late model GMC 1 ton truck Way stronger don't need special jig/puller to service rebuild and it fixed the GMCs narrowed front track width. Smart guys over there at GMC net USING building modifying and maintaining them http://www.gmcers.org/
