^ That's what I was wondering. Because we have a few respected ECU builders downunder. Some of them are moving a lot of product OS and in the USA particularly. However, for the $$$$ none of them come close to MS in terms of features. It sort of hurts my head and heart that people throw so much cash at a name and all they get is a 2nd rate shiny box. ...that then needs three other shiny boxes to do what MS does with one. :(

I don't know pete. I think the CB is pretty plug and play. That has a certain appeal.

And I really don't think it's THAT much more expensive. You have to remember for $2800 you get the efi, harness, throttle bodies, fuel rails, 4 egt controllers, 4 wideband controllers.. Etc.... So it's not just the ecu.

I'm sure MS is cheaper but you have to do more of the work.

I see nothing about EGT at all, let alone 4. I'm also seeing the 4 widebands for $500 more, not part of the kit. You won't be able to run the per cylinder widebands on a turbo car because the back pressure will skew the readings without special pressure compensation built in. I know of 1 acvw with 4wb and pressure comp. Its sitting on my driveway

Interesting. Looks like maybe you just need to come up with the sensors, kinda like with the extra 3 o2 sensors. Big investment up front, but cool to have once there.

The other expensive modules you have to add to the exy ECU to get it to do all the amazing things they advertise.

MS appears to do most of it with very few upgrades. Can't comment on the CB unit, but I will say, I've been a bit disappointed with pretty much everything I've purchased off them.

Well there is really no extra box you have to have.

Guess you just dont have great experiences with cb. And that is reflecting in your reply's.

No biggie, you like what u like, i like what i like.

For me it seems to do everything i want it to do and my tuner is fine with it. He set up the cb blackbox for me to so he is familiar with their products.

Then good luck. Hope it all works out. :)

...just don't come crying... Nah, we all cry and complain about our MS's anyway. :D
