I have decided to restart my decade and a half delayed T4 into Ghia project. I had started collecting parts back then, but life intervened. Today I went out to take stock of parts and looked at a shortblock I had acquired. It's a GE case code, which I gather is 2.0 liter, hydraulic lifter. It's also my understanding that it's a single oil relief case. Intro questions:
1) Is the single relief is a good thing? I've seen a couple of posts where people advise to block off the second relief in dual relief cases, and this has it already done.
2) Can I use solid lifters in it?
Thanks,
