Dry sump case to wet sump

Post by Druck1 »

I have a vintage Scat Killer case, dry sump. I want use it for a engine build but prefer wet sump. Any issue adding a Gene Berg or similar sump? Machining required, but any other issues to tackle?
Thanks

How are the oil pressure relief valves setup on the Scat? Some use external reliefs.

I believe this is external pressure relief. I need to go outside the case for oil cooling as well

What oil pump are you going to use? I am pretty sure they don't have provision in that case for an oil pick up tube? and you need the matching scat wet sump
