Does any one know the Distance from transaxle locating face of bell housing to clutch disk surface of flywheel?

Based on a sample of two, the X in your picture surface of engine case (same as trans face) 1.434-1.473 to the flywheel teeth/proud surface.
A sample of one, depth of that face to friction surface of flywheel is 1.002
A sample of one, depth of that face to friction surface of flywheel is 1.002
Yeah some may call it overkill, but you can't have too much overkill.
