Seafoam

Post by luvatenor »

Is it wise to use Seafoam in my twin Weber 2.0L engine to clean the carbs and fuel system- I am reading so many opposing opinions- even being called 'snake oil'(whatever that is). I appreciate any advice you can give me-Thanks-Roni

Its like Berryman https://www.berrymanproducts.com/produc ... p-t-f-s-c/ which is sort of a solvent bomb, not unlike toluene or acetone. I like it allot in moderation, the same can be said of water. It is not a bad idea for internal cleaning and can improve things fast without a tear down.

It isn’t magic and it isn’t a snake lubricant...I don’t recommend using that on snakes.
Yeah some may call it overkill, but you can't have too much overkill.
